AlfaCore is a nutritionally complete and energy-dense 1.0-2.0 kcal/ml Food for Special Medical Purposes, for the dietary management of children >1 year old or >8 g of body weight with disease-related malnutrition, growth failure and/or increased energy and protein requirements. AlfaCore has to be used under medical supervision. It can be used as a sole source of nutrition or as a supplement for children between 1-10 years who are unable to meet their nutritional requirements. AlfaCore is a powder product and is available in a neutral and a vanilla flavour.

AlfaCore contains MCT and a unique blend of hydrolysed and intact protein to ensure easy digestion, it contains the recommended amount of essential fatty acids – important for growth and the development of the brain –and it contains FOS prebiotics, essential for a healthy gut microbiota.
AlfaCore can be used as a sole source of nutrition or as a supplement. It can be used as an oral nutritional supplement or added to food and drinks (<60 °C).
